The latest event was held last 2008 in Kentucky in Valhalla Golf Club. The winning team came from United States and the captains were Paul Azinger and Nick Faldo. Since golfers on the Ryder Cup came only from two groups, the tendency to be too nationalistic is too strong and the competition too tough. Because of this, the Ryder cup has been always an interesting event for every golfer.
