| help with little league baseball | | my 9 year old tried out for little league and didn't make the cut, while his sister tried out for softball and there were so few positions that every girl was put on a team.They put my 9 year old in the minor league, which was great because he has never played on a team, and only had me to throw and bat with for the past year.Well, today, the coaches called and said that they had a player quit and wanted my little boy to join. Reluctantly I said yes, but i let them know that he had never played before. They were eager to get him on the team and said that they could teach him as we went along.Well, Saturday is their first game, and he hasn't even had one practice with a team that has practicing for over a month! what i am afraid of, is the awful things that i have heard about parents in the stands.
