| | Hockey World Cup: India to play Argentina for 7-8 spot | | Breaking News! India and Argentina will play in a classifiction 7-8 play-off match of the world cup Hockey 210 on Friday. During the 2006 Hockey World Cup, India had finished 11th among the 12 teams.
While India finished at 4th spot in Pool B, Argentina too finished 4th in Pool A, setting up the clash. In a practice match before the World Cup, India had beaten Argentina. If India best Argentina to finish 7th, it will be a creaditable performance, given the team's poor form.

| Canucks: the comeback kids! | | Great game tonight! It was 0-3 after the first period. Normally I would have given up and tune out. I would change the channel, and just wait for the next game. But considering that they've already had 9 games this season where they were behind after 40 minutes, yet they come back on the third to win the game, I stayed on watching.
And yes they did! It makes 10 times this season.

There is no solid UK league, and no national team, so there is nothing for the kids to aim for when starting out!The Northen League is a joke, with 4 teams just playing each other over and over again, and then the Celtic cup - same teams once again!
